Steeped in History, Maunsel house in Somerset is a stunning wedding venue full of character. This 13th century manor, is the home of the baronet Sir Benjamin Slade, whose family have lived since 1772. The stunning house set in over 100 acres is exclusively yours on the wedding day – total isolation with amazing views!
With 13 amazing bedrooms, and the new south wing, means upto 66 people can also be accommodated on site – perfect for the wedding party and guests! The gorgeous “Kingsroom” is the perfect setting for bridal preparations, and the happy couple on the evening of the wedding.
Maunsel House is extremely versatile in the number of guests it can cater to, utilising different combinations of rooms and external marquees to suit the individual requirements of each wedding.
This venue is full of character. Peacocks roaming the grounds, suits of armour on display, and over 150 weapons, which include 400-year-old muskets, a tommy gun, blunderbusses, a 12-bore Churchill shotgun and an AK47 assault rifle!
