Mitton Hall Wedding: Staci + Chris
“They are amazing, we love them! I don’t know how you managed to be in so many different places at the same time 😊”
We’ve all heard about (or experienced) ‘meddling’ mums trying to matchmake their children together, certain that they are made for each other, only for it to end in disaster (or a flat refusal by both parties to even meet). Well this post is to prove that sometimes ‘mum does know best’!
Staci and Chris first met on holiday in Anglesey as children. This wasn’t the start of a blossoming romance but their mum’s must have noticed something. Fast forward a number of years and they decided it was time to set their children up on a date, and it was love at first (well actually second) sight. Soon enough Staci and Chris were planning their Mitton Hall wedding.
When I first met Staci and Chris they described the vision of their wedding as ‘one big party’, and what better time of year to hold this than Christmas (23rd December) with all their guests in the festive spirit. The day definitely lived up to their expectations. The already impressive Mitton Hall was resplendent, decorated with huge Christmas trees and log fires aplenty. The dancing started early, with everyone up on their chairs during the wedding breakfast as the impressive singer Matt Johnson did his thing, and continued late into the night. Staci and Chris beamed from ear to ear throughout, leading the party and truly enjoying every moment of the day (and sharing many a kiss). It was great fun to be part of such a memorable day.
After the party ended, there was only one place for a honeymoon – you guessed it, they returned to Anglesey!
