Oak Tree of Peover Wedding – Claire and Tom
“Ahhhh Adam the photos are out of this world! We have had the best morning going through them all. I don’t think we’ll stop looking at them ever!”
For many, the last weeks before their wedding can be a sightly stressful period as all the final preparations are made. So if you added to this a house move and both partners quitting their jobs you might imagine that Claire and Tom were in the middle of a mini-breakdown. Not the case! As I chatted to them in the week leading up to the big day, both were taking it in their stride and seemed positively relaxed! Perhaps getting all those major life changes done in one go is the new way forward…and there is always plenty of time to relax during the honeymoon 🙂
It was so great to be back at the Oak Tree of Peover for Claire and Tom’s wedding this summer. However the place did look different. The old golf course had been left to grow over and now provided a stunning backdrop to the venue and what were previously changing rooms had been converted into a lovely space for the bride or groom to prepare in. On this occasion Tom and the guys utilised the space before heading downstairs for a cheeky beer before the ceremony.
One of my favourite parts of the wedding day, is that fateful first kiss moment. The joy, excitement, relief and love bubbles to the surface after the vows are complete. These are images all about emotion. Claire and Tom practically exploded with joy, as they shared their first married kiss, and that joy certainly didn’t stop as the celebrations continued.
Some of my favourite photographs from the day…
