Last Friday I was a guest, and photographer at the wedding of Arron and Simone. Arron is my younger brother, and was very nervous! (as you can see in the photos!). The marriage took place at the Village Hotel in Cheadle, and it was an amazing day…we all danced late into the night
Some of my favourite shots below:

On Saturday I had a the pleasure of heading to Avenham Park in Preston for a pre wedding photo shoot with Neil and Mel. We just about missed the rain, and found loads of great locations for the shots.
I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding next month at an amazing venue, The Inn at Whitewell in Lancashire, a selection of this weekends shots below:

After our two month trip around the world, Laura and I are back in the UK now. I took quite a few photos, (the first opportunity I’ve taken non-portrait/wedding photos for quite a while) and will post some more on my facebook page soon.
A few days before we set off on our travels, I visited the home of Emma and Adam to take some shots of their tiny newborn baby Jess. Adam is from New Zealand, and his Mum was also over to say hello to the new arrival. A few shots below:
2 weeks into our trip and we are well underway with exploring Australia. Travelling round in our 4×4 camper is a bit “Cosy” but we spend most time outdoors anyway! After arriving in cairns we ventured across the Daintree river to the tropical jungle of Cape Tribulation – we didn’t spot any cassowary though.
We are now at mission beach, coming via a night in Port Douglas. A day spent diving and snorkelling on the great barrier reef today, although Laura was a bit seasick on the way out as the water was a bit choppy! As it’s Easter sunday we are just having some chocolate and wine! A few recent pics below:
We arrived in Singapore 8 days ago, Singapore is a really nice city – very friendly
After a couple of nights in a hotel at the heart of Singapore, Laura and I got a very early bus to Malaysia. We then got a ferry over to the beautiful island of Tioman. A tropical island with monkeys in the trees and coral reef off the beach. We spent our days snorkelling, and even tried a bit of diving! The highlight was seeing a couple of large reef sharks, and a couple of turtles.
We are now at Singapore airport, ready for our Australia leg of the trip, whoo!
I haven’t figured out how to post pics from my iPad yet- so I’ll try to post some soon.
Last weekend I was lucky enough to photograph Mary and Sams Wedding at Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool. The sun was shining after a forecast of rain, and it was an amazing day. Sam was looking a bit worried at the Church as Mary was late (even by Brides standards). As Mary was leaving their house for the church, she realised Sam had the house key - so a quick dash to the church, and a return trip home and everything was sorted
Mary is a primary school teacher, and her school choir were on duty to sing, topping off a lovely service. Everyone then walked to Lark lane to visit the pub, whilst Mary and Sam walked home to grab a beer together and take a few pictures with me. An hour or so later, after a walk through Sefton Park, the stunning Palm house was awaiting all the guests for the reception.
Below are some images that tell the story of the day. Laura and I are off on a 8 week trip around the world tomorrow (whooooo) so I’ve posted these images a little earlier than I normally would. But hopefully Sam and Mary will be able to sneak a peek whilst enjoying their honeymoon in Italy!
